March has started us off with some very windy and rough conditions. The high winds and rough seas are typical for this time of year so we just gotta work with what mother nature gives us. The snook bite has been good at times but getting bait during these rough conditions makes it nearly impossible to give them what they want. When the winds are too bad, we've tucked back into some of our hiding spots where we've been catching some nice keeper black drum and some sheepshead. These two species are a couple of my most favorite fish to eat. We've also had a few bowfishing trips the last couple weeks and as usual they've been very successful. There's been plenty of large tilapia to shoot as well as long nose gar.
