Offshore Fishing

The Offshore fishing trips will be out of Sebastian Inlet.  We will ride out into the deep blue sea on our 22ft Sea Hunt bay boat taking us anywhere from 4 to 20 miles out into the ocean. During these trips we will drop anchor to bottom fish reefs and wrecks or troll weedlines and drop offs for mahi, cobia, snapper, grouper, kingfish, triggerfish, amberjack, and much more.

On our bottom fishing trips we fish on artificial reefs as well as natural reefs and wrecks using live and dead baits.  We use techniques such as bottom dropping, vertical jigging, and freelining. No need for dropping anchor as we have a fabulous MinnKota ipilot trolling motor with gps spot lock to instantly hold us in place.

Trolling on the other hand is constant moving.  We move along at a consistent speed around 5 to 8 knots cruising along weedlines and drop offs trolling ballyhoo and diving lures to try and catch some of the pelagic species.  Trolling can be the most boring technique but when they hit it turns into drag screaming craziness.

Offshore trips are mainly a late spring to early fall season due to bad weather and rough seas.  Usually our offshore trips start May 1st up through October 1st. We can set you up for a winter trip but it will be hit or miss if mother nature will cooperate.
