March Spring Time

It's been a little bit since my last post because it's been a pretty busy couple of months. The weather has not been in our favor much at all. March and April are usually a couple of toughest months of the year for fishing, reason being is the weather. February we had those bad cold fronts which really put the lock jar down on the snook bite along with most of the other fish as well. Not to mention they've been dredging Sebastian Inlet again which really ruins the bite. We're finding schools of big snook but getting them to eat has been nonexistent. Now that the water is warming up, I'm hoping the fish will be on the move wanting to fill their bellies. All we have to do now is work around the wind and rough seas. Right now it's been pretty much inshore only fishing but we might get a day here or there to get outside.

Today 03/13/26, it was one of those days a normal customer would say hell no we're gonna cancel. It was blowing 20 to 30 mph winds and raining most of the day but my die hard girl Ceean Hill and her dad Warren said they were up for the challenge. Despite the bad weather conditions, we found ourselves a couple good hiding spots to get out of the wind and it was a success. We caught a couple snook, a few redfish, multiple seatrout, black drum, sheepshead, jacks, and a bluefish. You just never know what's gonna happen if you don't go. The nicest day might be the worst catching when the crappy day might be the best, you just never know.
