March Madness

Updated: Jun 24, 2020

  • I've been a little late on my March fishing report but as everyone knows the world has been a little crazy lately. March started off pretty solid with bookings but because of all this pandemic, we've suffered quite a few cancellations in the last week and up through April. Other than that the fishing has been pretty darn good. The weather was pretty harsh on us at the beginning of the month which slowed the bite quite a bit. In the last week or so the weather has been great and the bite has turned on again. We've been catching big snook and big redfish with bluefish and jack crevalle in the mix. A lot of my customers have been fortunate enough to get themselves some solid slot snook to bring home as well. The lagoon has been a little slow with a few small snook and reds. When it's to windy everywhere else we've been heading up Sebastian River catching some monster jack crevalle on light tackle. The tarpon should start showing up in Sebastian River here in the next couple weeks. We've been able to get offshore a few times this month and every trip has been very productive. We're catching numerous amounts of fish from red snapper, mangrove snapper, lane snapper, kingfish, and cobia. The cobia haven't made there way to Sebastian just yet. We've caught a few out on the reefs but from what I've heard they're hitting them good up by Port Canaveral right now. I have a lot of openings in April right now so give us call. As long as the gas stations and boat ramps stay open, Whatever Turns U On Fishing Charters will be running strong.
